About Me.
I attended undergraduate school at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I double majored in Psychology and Sociology. I then went on to pursue my Master of Social Work at Barry University. I'm currently work as an Individual Therapist at Kai Wellness Center and I am also psychiatric technician for at local hospital. My goal is to ultimately become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and continue working with the male adult population.

This Psychology undergraduate curriculum approached its subject matter as a scientific discipline, emphasizing experimentation and observation to understand behavior and cognition better. A comprehensive program that included core courses in all fields of psychology, such as biological, cognitive, social, developmental, and clinical psychology, as well as specialty seminars.

Sociology with a concentration in Criminology
This Sociology undergraduate curriculum allowed for a multidimensional understanding of an infinite number of societal subjects such as crime, social and criminal justice, family, gender, race and ethnicity, class, natural and man-made disasters, music, social inequality, housing and communities, immigration, the environment, globalization, social movements, and education.

With real-life, hands-on work experience in various clinical practice areas, this CSWE-accredited Master of Social Work (MSW) program prepared me for a future in social work. This trauma-informed program also gave MSW graduates a foundation in policy practice, administrative leadership, and applied social research.
